The interactive art work follows the journey of Atamur, a character who has awoken in an alien land with fragmented memories of who they are and what this planet is. It’s a continuation of an on going body of work, Web Wide World, part 1 took the form of a comic book which was released earlier this year (2022).
This story and characters for this work has been developed post a diagnosis of PTSD from childhood trauma and at its core is an exploration into how “we” navigate trauma on an individual and societal level. As with previous works these themes may not be instantly recognisable to the audience, but rather have acted to inform the story.
