As a network and platform for collaboration and discussion, Creative Lives is actively engaged in ensuring a sustainable and impactful collaboration between artists, academics and other stakeholders, in order to achieve meaningful outcomes that will have a determined effect on any future policy connected to ageism in the arts.

The knowledge gathered during two Creative Lives symposia highlighted five key areas of concern that require immediate action: infrastructure, policy, funding, education and programmes.

We invite educational institutions, arts organisations, policy makers, to actively engage with these recommendations and help dismantle ageism in the creative professions by aligning their policies and practices with them.

We will implement our Creative Lives badges as recognition of their efforts.
